Neuromodulators/neurotoxins are used to treat and prevent wrinkles, fine lines, and deep facial furrows. They work under the surface into the muscle and reduce the underlying muscle activity. Thus prevents the skin wrinkling and furrows overtime.
There are different types of neuromodulators that are available for e.g., Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, Jeuveua and Daxxify.
Optimal results are visible between 7 to 14 days.
The results are usually last about 3-4 months.
Only single treatment is needed depending on your desired goal and look. Results last for about 3 to 4 months.
You can return to work immediately. Mild Bruising is possible. We use cryotherapy (ice pack) to prevent it and to minimize bruise. Avoid taking blood thinner such as NSAIDs such as aspirin, Advil for few days before the procedure. Plan for the treatment two weeks ahead of any events/vacations for max effect.
